I’m glad you’re here. Whether you are beginning your therapy journey or looking for a new therapist, I know reaching out can be one of the hardest parts. Taking this step shows courage and a desire for change, and that is something to be proud of.
My style as a therapist is warm, collaborative, and curious. I believe that much of the healing that happens in therapy is facilitated by a trusting and authentic relationship between client and therapist. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe to express yourself, explore your inner world, and gain a deeper understanding of your emotions and experiences.
Therapy can be both challenging and deeply rewarding. I often say that therapy should be comfortably uncomfortable; it’s not easy to face memories, stressors or patterns that hold you back, but you should feel supported, respected and safe as you do so. Together, we will explore the messy, confusing, and painful parts of life along with the joyous and rewarding ones, as we work toward your goals.

I tailor my approach to each individual client’s goals and needs. There is no “one size fits all” method for therapy because we are all different! During our first few sessions I will get to know you and create a treatment plan based on your unique needs as well as goals that we will create collaboratively in session.
